Who is running it?

Michelle Stokes is our Wraparound Care Leader. We are also thrilled to have Active Trowbridge supporting us in Session 2 of the after-school club each day. This partnership will allow us to offer a wider range of sporting and indoor activities, catering to all interests. Active Trowbridge has been an important part of our school community for many years, supporting us in a variety of ways, and we hope this new approach will benefit you and the children even further.

Times

Breakfast Club:

7:30 am – 8:40 am

After-School Club (Poplar Club):

• Session 1: 3:10 pm – 4:15 pm
• Session 2: 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm

What activities will there be?

Breakfast Club:

Board games, team games, and arts and crafts.

After-School Club (Poplar Club):

• Session 1: 3:10 pm – 4:15 pm
  This session will begin with an opportunity for the children to complete any homework and do their reading. They will also be provided with a drink and a snack.
  Afterwards, a timetable of engaging activities will follow. In Term 1, these will include arts and crafts, a mini-beast hunt, potion making, and a board games night. We will share a timetable of activities for Term 1 in the coming weeks.
• Session 2: 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
  This session will start with sandwiches, fruit, and vegetables. Children will then choose between an indoor activity (such as board games, a movie, or arts and crafts) or a more sporty outdoor activity led by an Active Trowbridge coach.

Will they get food?

Yes. In the mornings, children will be offered a range of cereals and toast.

During the first after-school session, a drink and a light snack (such as a biscuit or fruit) will be provided.

In the second session (from 4:15 pm), sandwiches, fruit, and vegetables will be served.
 

Our long-term aim is to provide a more substantial hot meal, which will depend on the number of children attending.

How much will it cost and when can I book?

For 2025/6 we have reduced the cost of our breakfast and after school provision. Ideally we would like the price to be even lower; this will be based around an increase in numbers and will be reviewed in the near future.
